Lapindo Brantas Victims: Why the Bakries are So Difficult to Response Them?

We know that the Republic of Indonesia Government was too unresponsively the victims of Lapindo Brantas.

More than one year since the tragedy was starting, the victims aren’t receive their compensation for the land and house which awash by the sludge spurt of the Lapindo Brantas gas well at Porong-Sidoarjo.

Many times of the government stake-holder of Indonesia such as the President until the minister were go to the place and meet the victims. But as usual, they were just say sorry and giving some promise to the peoples.

Now, after the pressing from some congress members to the President and his meeting with the 20 peoples of the victims delegation, he was instructing the Lapindo group to finish 20% compensation not late from this end month.

I just don’t understand, why the Lapindo group is so difficult to realize the compensation to the Lapindo Brantas victims. It’s have much money at they group as company or personal.

We know that the Lapindo group majority share is own by Bakrie Family. In the report of Forbes, this family is the 6th richest Indonesian with US$ 1.2 billion net worth! Otherwise as personal, Mr. Aburizal Bakrie is having entire US$ 147 million base on the report of KPK on May 23th, 2006!

So, why you so hard to pay them comrades?

Where is your heart?

Why you don’t imagine if the tragedy was going to you?

You just need entire 500 million rupiahs for pay the compensation of the victims. It’s very so little for you..
